Emotional happiness is often a delicate balance. Therapy is no longer only used to “fix problems” – it has also become a tool for personal growth and developing better self-understanding.

The role of therapy is to engender hope, give you the desire to grow and learn to self-evaluate and self-help.

Therapy will help you learn skills to counteract future negative episodes – it helps you to identify the triggers and causes of negative thoughts and behaviour and arms you with the tools to deal with them effectively and in a way that protects your emotional wellbeing. For me, therapy is about making and maintaining changes that improve your quality of life and support your personal growth.
